Concrete

We now have concrete on the floor. That has to cure for a few days.

Now that I have concrete, I was able to begin moving things back into the storage room. In this case, I moved two shelves that were blocking the door to the bike area. I can now access that way again.

There's still lots to shuffle about, but I'm also tuckered. I'm coming out of the coldish thingie, but I only worked half a day.

The contractor will glue down the floor on Friday or Monday, depending on his schedule.

New Book

I've begun on a new book, this one set in Endhaven. So, I'm heading back to that cycle. Targa Tik prophesied an terrible end for one character, and this is the deconstructed New Adult emerging from that. 

I spent January jotting down things that I wanted in the book and sorting out some tangled problems. I'm getting very ambitious this time around with lotsa points of view. We'll see how this works.

Having recently listened to The Memories of Pabi Ae, I found that my chapters were rather massive, including one chapter that hit 10k words. In January, I re-broke the books, and now I'm re-listening to them in auto-narration. This is one reason why I'm watching fewer films.

My wife wants to start narrating again, so I'm pleased. This would be kind, and she does love reading. She wants to start with The Digger series.

So far in audiobooks, I sell as lackluster as print titles. Mostly, I'm doing this for me. I've not been talented in building a fan base.
